In this video going viral, a person can be seen standing on the railway track. He has an umbrella in his hand and the train tracks are clearly visible from behind. He looks at the camera and says, “Never bring an umbrella on the railway track.” Saying this, he approaches the track and bends the umbrella held in his hand downwards. As soon as the tip of the umbrella comes near the railway track, a loud noise starts coming from it. The sound is exactly like the sound that comes when an electric current occurs or when a metal object is brought near an electric wire.
Why is it so dangerous?
Watching the video, it is clearly seen that the umbrella has a metal frame and the magnetic effect of electricity (Electromagnetic Induction) is reaching the umbrella from the high-voltage overhead electric line passing over it. That means the umbrella is drawing current in the air which can prove fatal for a person.
