Meanwhile, people of the Muslim community in Maharashtra also staged a protest against the Waqf Bill at the Sunni Mosque in Mumbai. During this, he tied the black band and raised slogans against the bill.

Regarding this bill, Mufti Mohammad Zubair Barkati said, “The Waqf Bill passed in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha is not completely better in Islam and Muslims. It is his own thinking that he is saying that it is better for Muslims but we are looking far that it is against Muslims.”

‘Supreme court will stand’
Mufti Zubair further said, “Muslims completely trust Sunni Ulama, the statement that they give and what will support it, we will be considered right. We will try our best for our rights.”

‘Government did not listen to’
At the same time, in Uttar Pradesh too, Muslims were seen opposing this bill. In Sambhal, a young man said, “We are angry that the government did not listen to us. But whatever we do, they will do it within the scope of the Constitution. Do not want to do any such work that peace is disturbed in our family, region, state or country.

‘Waqf work should be in the hands of Muslims’
The young man further said, “We also have the path of the Supreme Court. We will resort to the law to oppose the bill. Waqf’s property should remain in the hands of Muslims. We see this flaw.”
