Waqf amendment bill: The Central Government will introduce the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday (2 April 2025). This is expected to be discussed in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday (April 3). After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in NDA, the four largest parties Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Janata Dal-United (JDU), Shiv Sena and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) have issued a whip to their MPs asking them to support the government’s stand. Maulana Kab Rashidi has issued a warning on this.

Maulana Cab Rashidi’s warning on Waqf Bill

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind Uttar Pradesh legal advisor Maulana Kab Rashidi said, “The Muslim of India is saying that this is against them and parties like TDP, LJP, JDU who won by the votes of Muslims, say that it is in the favor of Muslims.” He warned that if these parties (NDA constituents) support the Waqf Bill, then tomorrow the Muslim will decide what to do with them.

‘Boycott will be supported by supporting parties’

Maulana Kab Rashidi said, “This is a democratic country. If you cannot protect our officers then I have options. I can send someone else and send it forward, on which I believe that my constitutional rights will protect. do.”

AIMPLB appealed to the parties of the country

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) appealed to all secular political parties and MPs, including BJP allies, to strongly oppose the Waqf Bill and do not vote in its favor under any circumstances. AIMPLB president Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani said that this bill is not only based on discrimination and injustice, but is also against the provisions of fundamental rights under Articles 14, 25 and 26 of the Constitution.
