Both ‘War 2’ and ‘Coolie’ were released one day. The biggest clash of the year was seen due to both films released a day before the occasion of Independence Day. In one film, when many well-known stars including Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR, Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan-Nagarjuna came face to face, it came to be seen as ‘War 2’ vs ‘Coolie’.
The budget of both films is also high. Spy Universe’s film ‘War 2’ has been made 450 crores and ‘Coolie’ has been made for 375 crores. According to this, both of them cannot be said to be a hit until they earn double the budget. Even though they have not yet received the tag of the hit, both films have set a wonderful record in their respective places.
Which amazing records of ‘War 2’ and ‘Coolie’
Among the hundreds of Indian films released this year, both these films have made it to the top 5. Even though ‘War 2’, has lagged behind ‘Coolie’, but both films have definitely left many films of this year behind.
- ‘Coolie’ has so far done a business of Rs 244.94 crore in India till the time of writing the story and has come at number three in the list after ‘Chhava’ (601.54 crore) and ‘Saira’ (326.15 crore).
- Now talking about ‘War 2’, it is at number five in this list by earning 214.73 crores. There are ‘Chhava’ (601.54 crore), ‘Saira’ (326.15 crore), ‘Coolie’ (244.94 crore), ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ (224.55 crore).
Both films have also earned so much worldwide
‘Coolie’ has done business of Rs 447.5 crore in worldwide 9 days and ‘War 2’ has done a business of Rs 320 crore. That is, both films have collected 767.50 crores together. That is, both films may not have benefited differently, but the theater owners have definitely benefited from them in the last 10 days.
