Senior Journalist Pooja Samanta spoke on Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan’s relationship in a recent interview to Hindi Rush. He told- ‘Their relationship was very close, but with the passage of time, he separated.’

Samanta further said- ‘Rekha had left non-veg food for Amitabh Bachchan. Because Amitabh Bachchan was a pure vegetarian, Rekha also left the meat. She did not split non -veg even during the shooting to impress Amitabh Bachchan. During this time, Samant further claimed that an anonymous actress, who has worked with both Big B and Rekha in many films, had confirmed the news of the affair and said- ‘Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan’s affair had some truth in the news.’

Pooja Samanta also told during this time that when Rekha reached Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s wedding with vermilion, there was an uproar. He said- ‘Rekha was not married, but at that time she arrived at the wedding as a married woman, who surprised people. Everyone was surprised.
