Singer-composer Palash Muchhal is once again in the headlines. Actor-producer Vigyan Mane has made many serious allegations against him. Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana’s friend Vigyan Mane has claimed that Palash cheated the Indian cricketer and also cheated him of more than Rs 40 lakh in connection with an unreleased film. Mane has lodged a formal complaint in Sangli, Maharashtra. Mane claims that he is Smriti Mandhana’s childhood friend and it was through the Mandhana family that he met Palash.
Palash was caught in bed with another woman
Let us tell you that while talking to Hindustan Times, 34-year-old Mane revealed that Palash Muchhal was caught having fun in bed with another woman during the wedding functions in November 2025. Mane told, “I was at the wedding celebration (November 23, 2025) when he was caught red-handed in bed with another woman. It was a horrifying scene, Indian women cricketers had beaten him. The whole family is thieves. I thought he would get married and settle down in Sangli, but it turned out to be the complete opposite for me.”
Film investment controversy and blackmail claims
Mane further alleged that he invested more than Rs 40 lakh in an unreleased film based on Palash and his family, but was later pressured to invest more money. He said, “When I met her mother (Amita Muchhal) last month, she said that the budget to release the film is now Rs 1.5 crore. She asked me to invest Rs 10 lakh more, otherwise I will not get any money back. They started blackmailing me and threatened to remove me from the film, so I had to file a complaint.”
Blocked after marriage was canceled
Mane further said, “After the wedding was cancelled, the family blocked me from everywhere. I came to know that other actors of the film had also not received their payments. I had heard about directors cheating producers in the film industry, but this is complete theft.” He also alleged that he is receiving threats and that despite being ready for release, there has been no progress in the film.
Mane says he will hand over evidence to police
Regarding his next steps, Mane said that he wants to bring out the truth behind the Muchhal family, adding, “I have saved all the evidence including my chats and phone conversations, which I am ready to share with the police and media.”
Palash Muchhal denied the allegations
Meanwhile, Palash Muchhal responded to the allegations through an Instagram story, and denied all the claims made against him. He wrote, “With regard to the allegations made by Vigyan Mane of Sangli on social media, I wish to state that these claims against me are completely baseless and factually incorrect. These are made with the ill intention of maligning my image, and will not be left unchallenged. My lawyer, Shreyansh Mithrare, is exploring all legal avenues, and this matter will be dealt with strictly through the appropriate legal channels.”
Palash-Smriti’s marriage was canceled in December 2025
The marriage of Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana was to take place on November 23, 2025. Earlier both the families had postponed the marriage due to health emergency and later it was canceled forever in December 2025. Amidst speculation that Smriti had been cheated on, both parties issued statements confirming that the marriage would not take place. Smriti made it clear in her statement that the marriage has been canceled and had also requested to maintain privacy in this difficult time.
