Mendis was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 75 lakh in the auction. This was his debut season, in which he played a total of 5 matches. Mendis scored 92 runs and took 2 wickets. However, last year’s runner-up Sunrisers Hyderabad was the third team to be out first.
