These days, Pakistan team is playing a three-match T20 series against Australia on home soil, of which two matches have been completed. But during the second match, Australia raised questions on Pakistan’s ‘bhatta’ bowling, the video of which also went viral on social media. So let us know what is the whole matter behind Pakistan’s poor bowling.
In the second T20 of the series played on Saturday (January 31), Australia’s all-rounder Cameron Green raised questions on the bowling action of Pakistan’s spinner Usman Tariq. Usman dismissed Green, after which the Kangaroo all-rounder appeared very angry while returning to the pavilion. Apart from this, Green also hinted at Bhatta bowling in front of the dressing room.
Usman was accused of Bhatta bowling earlier also
This was not the first time that Usman was accused of bhatta bowling, but earlier during the International League T20 in early January, MI Emirates batsman Tom Banton had also accused Usman of bhatta i.e. chucking while bowling.
🚨🚨 Cameron Green called out Usman Tariq for chucking after getting out!!
– Tom Banton called out Usman Tariq for chucking in ILT2O.
– PSL banned him for chucking.
– Green tonight called him out for sucking.

There was an allegation of Bhatta bowling in PSL also.
The matter was not limited only to international cricket or International League T20, but questions have been raised on Usman’s bowling action in Pakistan’s Super League i.e. PSL itself. In the Pakistan Super League, the umpire has twice complained to the match referee about Usman’s bowling action.
Questions raised on ICC also
After continuous questions were raised on Usman, a question also started arising that what is the International Cricket Council (ICC) doing? Only ICC takes care of all these things in international cricket.
The thing to note is that T20 World Cup 2026 is to start from 7th February. Usman has been made a part of Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming World Cup. Now it will be interesting to see whether any decision is taken on Usman in the world or not.
