Let us tell you that Phillips was very fond of becoming a pilot and going into the aviation sector. According to India Today, Phillips said, “Yes, it is a big passion of mine. If I was not playing cricket and I had all the money in the world since childhood, to be honest, I probably would have become a pilot.”
Phillips further said, “I love being in the air. Ideally I would like to go to the mountains and not have to work at all, just enjoy all my hobbies. But if I still had to work, becoming a pilot would be my first choice.”
Phillips’ power will be visible in IPL 2026
Glenn Phillips will be seen playing for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026. The franchise had retained Phillips for the upcoming season for a price of Rs 2 crore. However, it is worth noting that he played the last IPL season in 2023 for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Now it will be interesting to see whether he is able to make a place in the playing 11 in the upcoming season or not.
