Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA and famous folk singer Maithili Thakur, elected for the first time in Bihar Assembly, took oath as MLA in Maithili language wearing a yellow saree and traditional pag on Monday (December 1).
Maithili Thakur reached the House by winning from Alinagar assembly seat. Maithili Thakur is among the youngest MLAs of Bihar. This is how Maithili showed her colors in the assembly on the first day. The video of him taking oath is viral on social media.
