Shahabuddin’s son Osama Shahab is contesting the assembly elections (2025) from Raghunathpur seat of Siwan district on RJD ticket. Osama Shahab cast his vote on Thursday (November 06, 2025) on the day of the first phase of voting. Meanwhile, Shahabuddin’s elder brother Ghiyasuddin has given a big statement. On RJD giving ticket to Osama, he has retaliated against the attacks being made by the opposition.
On the statements being made by opposition party leaders regarding Osama Shahab, the RJD candidate from Raghunathpur assembly seat of Siwan, Shahabuddin’s elder brother Ghiyasuddin said, “If this minister had gone somewhere else, nothing could have been said, but he came to Raghunathpur assembly and spoke against him… Why? Osama is a young leader and will definitely do development.” “People talk to others to hide their secrets.”

‘Osama means brave’
While talking to ABP News, Shahabuddin’s elder brother Ghiyasuddin said that if Osama wins the elections, he will develop like his father. The allegations leveled against Shahabuddin are wrong. On a question, he said that here names are kept according to religion, Osama means brave.
Hina Shahab also reacted
Mother Hina Shahab has also reacted to her son Osama Shahab contesting the elections. He said that Raghunathpur is not a hot seat. It is a normal seat. He said that every time big leaders come, this time also they have come. Osama has started his campaign. If we win we will develop. On a question he said that no one can ever fill the void of Shahabuddin.
