On Tuesday (28 October), a bus of Air India’s ground handling service provider company AI SATS suddenly caught fire at Terminal-3 (T3) of Delhi Airport. The incident occurred near bay number 32, which was just a few meters away from the plane.
The special thing is that there were no passengers present in the bus at that time, due to which a major accident was averted. As soon as the fire broke out, fire brigade personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control. There has been no report of anyone being injured or damage to planes parked nearby. Airport officials said that investigation into the cause of the fire has been started. At the same time, the official statement from Air India is awaited.
