Air Force Vice Chief Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor has made a big disclosure regarding Operation Sindoor. ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ is not an exercise, but a demonstration
Air Marshal Kapoor said that ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ is not a normal exercise but a ‘demonstration’. He said, ‘This is not an exercise, it is a demonstration of air power.’ After Operation Sindoor, many military exercises have been conducted and the Air Force is continuously strengthening its preparations. However, he also said that the long-range targeting capability cannot be fully demonstrated on a public platform.
‘Vayu Shakti’ exercise in Jaisalmer on 27th February
On 27th of this month, Indian Air Force’s ‘Vayu Shakti’ exercise will be organized in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, adjacent to the Pakistan border. This exercise takes place once every two years, in which the Air Force demonstrates its fire-power and operational capability. In this regard, a ‘Curtain Raiser’ press conference of the Air Force was organized, in which Vice Chief Nagesh Kapoor gave information. 277 weapons and 12 thousand kg of gunpowder were used
This time 277 weapons will be used in the Vayushakti exercise. About 12 thousand kg of explosive material (gunpowder) will be used in this. 77 frontline fighter jets, 43 helicopters and 8 transport aircraft will participate in the exercise.
