Addressing a program in Faridabad, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that we will find the culprits of Delhi blasts even from the depths of hell and will give them the harshest punishment. On November 10, 15 people lost their lives in the explosion near Red Fort metro station. Last week, the Union Cabinet officially termed the incident as a heinous terrorist attack and assured that those involved in the incident will be given the strictest punishment.
‘Strict action will be taken against the culprits’
He also promised that the action against the terrorists who carried out the Delhi attack will be so harsh that it will send a message to the world that no one should dare to think of such attacks in India. On Monday (17 November 2025), NIA arrested another person related to this terrorist attack. According to the investigating agency, 73 witnesses have been questioned so far, including the injured survivors.
‘Government’s commitment to root out terrorism’
Addressing the 32nd meeting of the Northern Regional Council, Home Minister Amit Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is the collective commitment of the government to root out terrorism. At the beginning of the meeting, tributes were paid to those killed in the car bomb blast near the Red Fort and the blast at Naugam police station in Jammu and Kashmir and two minutes of silence was observed.

The Union Home Minister said, “As per PM Modi’s vision, strong states build a strong nation and regional councils play an important role in turning this into reality at the ground level.” He said, “regional councils are extremely important for dialogue, cooperation, coordination and policy coordination. Many types of problems have been solved through these councils.” He said that there are still many issues, like delay in ensuring speedy justice in crimes against women and children, malnutrition etc., from which the country needs to be freed.
