Cold continues to wreak havoc in many areas of North India. However, due to sunlight during the day, the maximum temperature is also increasing. While cold wave continues in northern states like Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, a slight increase in temperature has been recorded in Rajasthan and some other areas. Severe cold was witnessed in some parts of Punjab and Haryana on Tuesday. The minimum temperature in Chandigarh was recorded at 6 degrees Celsius.
Light cloudy weather is expected in the capital Delhi on Wednesday (January 21). Fog may be seen in different areas in the morning. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is expected to be 24 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be 6 to 8 degrees. The Meteorological Department says that along with sunshine, there may also be light rain at some places in the capital in the next few days.
Increase in temperature of UP
There is continuous change in the weather of Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, after the fog and cold day, there will be an increase in the temperature in the state. It is estimated that there will be no significant change in the maximum temperature in different districts of the state for the next 2 days. A new western disturbance will affect north-west India tonight.
All districts in green zone
According to the information received from the weather center located in Lucknow, today (January 21), the sky will be clear in Western UP as well as in Eastern UP. Today all the districts have been kept in the green zone. However, from January 23 the weather in UP will take a U-turn. After this, the sound of thunder will be heard and strong winds will also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in different districts of the state. This phase will be seen in many cities on January 24 also.
Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Amethi, Agra, Meerut, Jhansi, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Bareilly, Rampur, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Kanpur, Basti, Barabanki, Bahraich, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Siddharthnagar, The sky will be clear today in Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Kushinagar and Amethi. At some places, shallow fog may be seen in the morning, but it will be sunny throughout the day.
Cold started decreasing in Bihar also
The harsh cold in Bihar is now slowly disappearing. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry with increase in temperature in the next few days. The sky may remain slightly cloudy, but there is no possibility of rain. According to meteorologist Sattar, there may be light fog in the morning in the next 4 days, while sunlight during the day will reduce the effect of cold.
