The weather pattern is going to change in the next 24 hours in the country. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), rain and strong winds can increase problems in seven states. Due to this change, a drop of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in temperature can be recorded in many areas. Also, there is a possibility of strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Farmers have been advised to take special caution. A warning of snowfall has also been issued in the hilly states.

According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain and lightning along with thunderstorms in Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Lakshadweep during February 25 and 26. Hail may also occur at some places, especially in East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Odisha and Telangana. There is a possibility of light rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and snowfall in high altitude areas on 27 and 28 February.

Weather condition of Uttar Pradesh including Delhi

The weather is expected to be clear in Delhi on February 25 and there is no possibility of rain. The maximum temperature can be 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum can be 14 degrees Celsius. An increase of 1 to 2 degrees in temperature is possible in the coming two to three days. Light winds will blow in the morning and mild heat may be felt in the afternoon. The weather will be normal in Uttar Pradesh on February 25 and there is no warning of rain, although slight cold may increase in the morning in Saharanpur, Bijnor, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur and Bareilly. The maximum temperature in Lucknow is likely to be 29 degrees and minimum 15 degrees. Heat may increase in Kanpur and surrounding areas during the afternoon.

How is the weather going to be in Bihar-Jharkhand?

There is no possibility of major change in the weather in Bihar on 25th February. Temperature may increase in Patna, Gaya, Jehanabad, East and West Champaran, Buxar, Siwan, Samastipur and Darbhanga. The maximum temperature in Patna is expected to be 29 degrees and minimum 16 degrees. There will be fog and light clouds in the morning in many districts of Jharkhand. There is a possibility of rain in Gumla, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Ranchi, Ramgarh and Khunti till late evening. The maximum temperature in Ranchi can be 27 degrees and minimum 14 degrees.

Weather conditions in hilly areas

There is a warning of rain and snowfall in Nainital, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh and Pauri Garhwal of Uttarakhand on 26 and 27 February. The maximum temperature in Dehradun can be 22 degrees and the minimum can be 11 degrees. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Manali, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur and Solan of Himachal Pradesh on 26 and 27 February. The maximum temperature in Manali can go up to 0 degrees and the minimum can go up to minus 10 degrees. There is less possibility of rain in the plains in Jammu and Kashmir for the next three days, but there may be snowfall in the higher areas. Temperature may fall in Pulwama, Kupwara, Srinagar, Budgam and Baramulla.

Weather condition of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh

Due to less impact of Western Disturbance in Rajasthan, the possibility of rain is less, although Jaipur, Udaipur, Bharatpur and Kota may remain cloudy. The maximum temperature in Jaipur is expected to be 29 degrees and minimum 16 degrees. There is a possibility of light rain in Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Khargone, Dhar, Bhind, Morena and Shivpuri of Madhya Pradesh. The maximum temperature in Bhopal can be 30 degrees and the minimum can be 17 degrees.

Weather condition in Tamil Nadu

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some districts of South Tamil Nadu till March 1. The maximum temperature in Chennai is expected to be 30 degrees and minimum 23 degrees. Overall, changes in weather will be seen in different parts of the country. At some places the temperature will drop due to rain and snowfall, while at other places there will be sunshine and mild heat. People have been advised to keep an eye on the latest warnings of the Meteorological Department and exercise caution.
