Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning saying that the weather may change in many parts of the country in the coming 24 to 48 hours. At some places there will be strong winds and at some places it will rain. Snowfall may be seen in hilly areas. According to IMD, due to active Western Disturbance, clouds have started appearing in many states. Increase in temperature is being seen in many areas. There are also indications of lightning and hailstorm at many places.
There will be hail in Rajasthan
According to the Meteorological Department, the impact of Western Disturbance can be seen more in Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana. Light to moderate rain is expected in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions of Rajasthan. Hail may also occur in some areas. There is a possibility of rain with strong winds in Haryana and Punjab.
Delhi weather condition
There is a possibility of change in the weather in the capital Delhi. There is a possibility of light rain in the afternoon on Wednesday (February 18). Also, strong winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Along with thunder, there is also a possibility of lightning. There will be a temporary drop in temperature due to rain and people may get some respite from the heat.
Weather will change again in UP
According to the Meteorological Department, a big change can be seen in the weather in Uttar Pradesh today. Due to the activation of Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain, thunder, strong winds and hailstorm at some places in the western and north-western districts. It is sunny in the cities of eastern and central UP and the temperature remains above normal. After the rain, the temperature is expected to increase further in the next few days.
Where will it rain?
According to IMD, today it will be cloudy in many districts of western Uttar Pradesh. Light drizzle or rain with strong winds (30-40 km/hr) may occur in areas like Noida, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Baghpat, Hapur, Agra, Mathura, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Meerut. There is also a danger of lightning and hailstorm at some places.
The weather will be clear in Lucknow today. The sun will be out and mild heat will be felt during the day. The maximum temperature can reach 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be 14 degrees Celsius. The wind speed will be around 10 km/hour. There is no possibility of rain in Prayagraj today. The maximum temperature will be around 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be 13-14 degrees Celsius. There will be light clouds in Varanasi, but the chances of rain are less. The maximum temperature will be around 29 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be around 12 degrees Celsius.
