Weather 22 March: Different weather patterns are being seen across the country. According to the Meteorological Department, weather fluctuations continue from North India to South India and Himalayan regions. By the last week of March, the heat can reach its peak, but at present, there is relief in North India due to the influence of Western disturbance.
According to IMD, there is a movement of clouds in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR, Haryana and Punjab, due to which the temperature is under control. For the next two days, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and strong winds with thunderstorms. At the same time, there may be rain with lightning in West Bengal, Jharkhand and parts of Bihar.
Delhi-NCR season and pollution levels
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Delhi has been recorded at 16.5 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature can go up to 32 degrees. Light drizzle may occur in the next few days, which will lead to a slight drop in temperature. At the same time, the level of pollution in Delhi has been recorded in the middle category where AQI remains around 150.
Weather mood in Bihar and Jharkhand
Alert of rain and hailstorm has been issued in many districts of Bihar on Saturday (March 22) with strong winds. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in Patna, Gaya, Aurangabad and Nawada. In Jharkhand too, there has been a drop in temperature due to strong winds, rain and hailstorm. People have got relief from the heat due to rain in many districts including Ranchi and Dhanbad.
Impact of heat in Rajasthan and South India
According to IMD, due to western disturbance in Rajasthan, there may be light rain in some parts. Jaipur, Bikaner and Bharatpur divisions are expected to run at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph. At the same time, the temperature in many parts of Andhra Pradesh has reached 42 degrees Celsius. In Odisha, the temperature is being recorded higher than normal, due to which people are facing scorching heat.
Cold feeling in Himalayan states
There is a possibility of snowfall and rain for the next two days in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. This will record the temperature and increase the effect of cold. In many altitude areas, the temperature can reach below zero, which can lead to a cold wave -like situation.
The effect of weather across the country
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a balance between rain, thunderstorms and heat in different states for the next few days. While there will be relief from western disturbances in North India, temperature in South India and Eastern states may increase continuously. Caution needs to be taken with changing weather in different parts of the country.
