IMD has said that within the next 2 to 3 days, there are chances of 2 to 5 degrees of mercury high in Delhi -NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. However, areas like Pithoragarh, Chamoli and Uttarkashi, 27 and 28 may receive light rain.

Heavy rains are estimated in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Central Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Orissa. Along with this, thunderstorms continue in Bokaro, Chaibasa, Dumka, Hazaribagh and Ranchi in Jharkhand.
