The effect of rain and strong winds will also be seen in South India. Light to moderate rain may occur in many districts from 16 to 19 September in Tamil Nadu. During this time, the speed of the winds can reach 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department has advised fishermen and people living in seaside areas to be vigilant.

Light rain in Kerala and Karnataka
Apart from Tamil Nadu, light rain can also be recorded in Kerala and parts of Karnataka. Although there is no possibility of heavy rains here, the weather will be seen at the local level.
