The weather is gradually changing in many states of North India. Due to continuous strong sunlight during the day, there is relief from severe cold, although slight cold is still felt in the morning and evening. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain normal in most of the plains in the coming days, but the weather may worsen again in the hilly areas.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that due to the effect of western disturbance, there may be rain and snowfall in the western Himalayan areas on 10-11 February. During this period, there is also a possibility of strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The weather is expected to be worse in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, while no major change is expected in the rest of the country.

Meteorological Department’s estimate

The Meteorological Department has warned of dense fog in the morning in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya and Coastal Andhra Pradesh till February 10. Due to fog, rail, road and air traffic may be affected. People have been advised to be cautious in the morning.

Delhi weather

There will be light clouds in the sky in Delhi-NCR on February 10 and dense fog may occur at night. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 24 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be 11 degrees. The weather will be clear on 11th and 12th February, but light fog may persist in the morning.

Uttar Pradesh and Bihar

In Uttar Pradesh, the effect of cold has reduced due to sunshine during the day. There may be dense fog in the morning and night in eastern UP till 10 February. The cold is gradually decreasing in Bihar also. The temperature is expected to increase in the coming days.

condition of hill states

There may be rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir between February 9 and 11. There is a possibility of heavy snowfall and strong winds in some areas. The temperature here may remain around or below zero. Overall, the weather will be comfortable in the plains, while cold and snowfall in the mountains can increase problems.
