The Meteorological Department has warned of changes in the weather of entire Bihar for the next 7 days from last Sunday (March 15). On Monday (16 March), the weather is likely to be worse in entire Bihar. From 4 am onwards, a yellow alert has been issued at some places in the capital Patna, Gaya and Vaishali district for light or moderate rainfall, lightning and strong wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers.

Apart from this, there has been a warning of hailstorm along with storm and rain in most of the districts, especially in North Bihar. According to Meteorological Center Patna, due to the influence of the weather system, humidity has increased in the lower atmosphere of the state.

There will be possibility of storm till this day

Due to the impact of local sustainable activities, there will be a possibility of thunderstorm and hailstorm and thundershowers at some places in the state till March 20. The Meteorological Department has advised farmers to remain alert. There is a possibility of the ripe crop being taken to the storage area and causing damage to the standing crops, banana plantations and mango orchards.

Meteorological Department issued orange alert

According to the Meteorological Department, orange alert has been issued in 12 districts of North Central and North Western part on Monday. Among these, light or moderate rain is expected in West Champaran, East Champaran, Siwan, Saran, Gopalganj, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali and Samastipur.

Along with this, the possibility of lightning, thunder and strong wind blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers has been expressed. There has also been a warning of hailstorm at many places in these districts.

Yellow alert issued in these districts

Apart from this, yellow alert has been issued in central and eastern areas of north-eastern and southern parts like Supaul, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Munger, Banka, Jamui, Begusarai, Nalanda, Patna, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Gaya. Apart from strong wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers in these districts, there has been a warning of light or moderate rainfall, lightning and thunder.

There is no possibility of much change in temperature in western and central districts of South Bihar. A decrease or increase of one or two degrees can be seen. There is a forecast of a drop of three to four degrees in North Bihar. A decrease of 1 to 2 degrees was observed in South Bihar on Sunday.

The highest temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Dehri of Rohtas. The temperature in the capital Patna was 33 degrees with a drop of 1.4 degrees. Whereas in most of the districts in the eastern and central parts of North Bihar, temperatures were recorded near 29 degrees. The minimum temperature remained between 17.6 degrees to 22.3 degrees. The lowest temperature of 17.6 degrees was recorded in Rajgir of Nalanda.
