West Bengal Election 2026: BJP is in action mode before West Bengal elections. She is going to issue a charge sheet against the TMC government in the state. Home Minister Amit Shah will issue the charge sheet against Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata on March 28. This charge sheet has been prepared with the list of corruption and crimes committed in the Mamata government. BJP workers will go to every assembly in West Bengal regarding the charge sheet. After this, the resolution letter will be issued in the beginning of April.
The same thing is being said in the white paper by some BJP leaders and workers. After the release of the charge sheet, the party will release its manifesto.
Let us tell you that this time Mamata Banerjee’s TMC and BJP are face to face in the Bengal Assembly elections. BJP is once again raising the slogan of Hindutva vigorously, while Trinamool Congress has become vocal about Bengal identity.
‘Bengali-non-Bengali’ slogan
Trinamool Congress has always used the slogan ‘Bengali-non-Bengali’ in its fight against BJP. In this assembly election also, Trinamool Congress has entered the fray against BJP with the slogan of ‘Bengal ka Vanchan-Bengali ka Vanchan’. This slogan can also play an important role in the election campaign.
This time BJP also published the list of candidates in Hindi. Experts believe that by doing this, BJP has given another big opportunity to Trinamool Congress. Not only is the issue of conducting SIR in Bengal at the center of political tussle, TMC is also making the attacks on Bengali speaking migrants in BJP ruled states an issue.
BJP attacks TMC on issues of corruption and unemployment
Other opposition parties including BJP are attacking the Mamta government of the state on two major issues. First corruption and second unemployment. Apart from this, the Prime Minister gave a clear message that BJP will keep the issue of ‘infiltrators’ prominent in the election campaign. Party leaders claim that more than 6,000 companies have moved out of Bengal in the last 14 years, making the state a ‘labor export economy’.
When are the elections in Bengal?
Elections for a total of 294 assembly seats in Bengal will be held in two phases. Voting will be held in the first phase on 23 April and in the second phase on 29 April.
