West Indies team head coach Sammy said about the matter, “I am not fully aware of this, but we are all aware of the things going on in the media. I am very close to my players and are constantly talking to them, so that their mental state is fine.”
Sammy further said, “We believe in justice, we are a community that wants justice to be found, but there is a process for it. We will ensure that this matter is completely settled through the right system. As a coach and cricket board, I want justice to all.”
Sammy said, “These are only allegations so far. We know that the justice process has our own time and way, so we should wait until the truth is revealed.”

According to media reports, Joseph has been accused of rape by 11 women. Which includes a teenager. According to reports, a girl told that Joseph misbehaved with her in New Amsterdam on 3 March 2023.
