India’s strong reaction to Donald Trump’s threat
A few hours before the comments of Congress MP Manish Tiwari, India on Monday (August 4, 2025) gave a sharp reply to the US and the European Union criticism, calling their allegations unfair. These allegations were made by India for the purchase of crude oil from Russia. India rejected the criticism of the US and the European Union, pointing to double criteria and said, “The US and the European Union themselves continue business relations with Russia.”
