America’s President Donald Trump is often in the news for his behavior. Sometimes because of a good compliment and sometimes because of angry, sharp statements. Something similar happened in the press conference held at the White House on Monday, when Trump suddenly scolded a cameraman in the middle of his speech and then turned the atmosphere into a joke and made everyone laugh.
Trump’s anger during speech
This incident happened when Trump was sitting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. The two leaders were announcing an $8.5 billion mineral deal to strengthen the supply of rare minerals in the defense and clean energy sectors and reduce dependence on China.
While Trump was speaking, a camera collided with an old mirror. He immediately said – ‘Hey, be careful!’ Don’t break it, that mirror is 400 years old!’ Then laughingly he said, ‘I had taken it out from the safe and brought it here, and as soon as it came, the camera got hit. These are the troubles of life!’ Everyone present in the hall laughed at his statement, and the press conference continued again.
Big deal between America and Australia
Trump said that this deal is a major success for both the countries. He told that this agreement was being prepared for many months, which will strengthen the partnership between America and Australia at the global level. Prime Minister Albanese also described this deal as important for the economic and technical cooperation of the two countries.
Trump’s team also in discussion
Donald Trump remains in the headlines not only for his statements but also for the attitude of his team. On Monday itself, his press secretary Caroline Levitt made a scathing attack on a journalist. HuffPost journalist SV Dete had asked a question about the location of the possible meeting between Trump and Putin. In response to this, Levitt gave a witty but sharp reply – ‘Your mother…’. He himself shared this screenshot on social media platform X and accused the journalist of bias against Trump.
Trump’s favorite spokesperson
Caroline Levitt is considered a strong voice of the Trump administration. Trump himself praised her and said that she is a ‘confident, sharp and tough spokesperson’ who answers even difficult questions from the media boldly. Levitt was previously a part of Trump’s 2024 election team and is now the youngest press secretary of the White House.
