New Toyota Hilux EV Range And Price: Toyota has launched the new generation Hilux pick-up truck. This new generation model has been brought with new style and interior. This pick-up truck comes with a fully electric powertrain. Toyota has included many new features in this model. This electric car comes with dual motor setup, which claims to give better range in a single charge.
Power of the new Toyota Hilux
This new pick-up truck of Toyota is based on IMV body-on-frame platform. This is the first body-on-frame vehicle for Toyota. This new model of Toyota Hilux comes with an EV powertrain, which has a 59.2 kWh battery pack, which is paired with front and rear motors. Full time AWD has been added to this pick-up truck, which provides a torque output of 205 Nm on the front axle, while a torque output of 268.6 Nm is available on the rear axle.
Charging power of Toyota Hilux EV
Toyota Hilux EV pick-up truck can cover a distance of 240 kilometers in a single charging. The pay-load capacity of this pick-up truck is 715 kg. Its towing capacity is 1,600 kg. Toyota has launched this EV pick-up truck with best-in-class charging feature. The on-road price of Toyota Hilux starts at Rs 33.22 lakh and the price of its top model goes up to Rs 41.90 lakh.
Petrol powertrain option also included
Apart from Toyota Hilux EV powertrain, it also comes with petrol and diesel engines. This pick-up truck also has the option of 2.7 liter petrol and 2.8 liter diesel engine. This vehicle will also be equipped with a 48V mild hybrid setup with Fortuner Neo Drive, which works to assist the engine during acceleration. Toyota is also going to launch hydrogen powered Hilux EV in the coming time. The hydrogen version of this Toyota pick-up truck will be launched in 2028.
