In Faridabad, just 50 kilometers away from Delhi, security agencies have exposed a terrorist conspiracy which surprised everyone. Preparations were underway to spread terror under the guise of a doctor’s degree and a hospital job. Two doctors, Dr. Adil Ahmed Rather and Dr. Muzammil Shakeel, residents of Jammu and Kashmir, have been arrested. More than 350 kg of ammonium nitrate, two rifles, 20 timers, batteries and other explosive materials have been recovered from both of them.
Investigation has revealed that Dr. Adil Ahmed Rather, who worked as a senior doctor in GMC Hospital, Anantnag, while his colleague Dr. Muzammil Shakeel was a professor at Al Falah University, Faridabad. The agencies suspect that both of them used a part of their salary to fund terrorist activities.
A cache of gunpowder found in a rented house
According to media reports, three magazines, eight big and three small suitcases filled with explosives, two rifles and walkie-talkies have been recovered from the terrorists’ hideout. According to the police, it is not RDX but ammonium nitrate, which could have been used to cause big blasts.
Journey from doctor to terrorist
Both Adil Ahmed and Muzammil come from educated families. Adil took MBBS and later post graduation degree from Medical College. Jammu and Kashmir Police had arrested Adil from Saharanpur a few days ago. During interrogation, he confessed that he had hidden AK-47 and explosives in a bank locker in Anantnag. When the police opened the locker, a cache of weapons was found there. Based on his information, the agencies conducted a raid in Faridabad and recovered more than 350 kg of gunpowder.
What will be the salary?
If we talk about the salary of Dr. Adil Ahmed Rather, he was working in a private hospital located on Saharanpur-Ambala road. If the estimated salary is considered then it can be between Rs 80 thousand to Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand. Although ABP Live does not confirm this.
