Mumbai Indians defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 54 runs in the match played on Sunday. After losing the match, Lucknow captain Rishabh Pant said that today was not the day of his team.
Pant said the decision to bowl first and said that he expresses more and more time on his batting. But today was not his day.
Pant said that if the other team is playing good cricket, then instead of questioning itself, another team should give credit. Pant is constantly struggling with poor form. He scored just four runs against Mumbai.
Pant said on his own poor performance that he is keeping it very simple. They are not thinking too much about it. He said that in such a season when nothing is going towards you. So you start questioning yourself as a player. But this team is a game and if the team is doing the increase, then only one should think about it.
Mumbai gave Lucknow a target of 216 runs. In response, Lucknow was able to score only 161 runs and lost the match by 54 runs. For Mumbai, Jasprit Bumrah took four and Trent Bolt took three wickets.
This is Mumbai’s 5th consecutive win. Mumbai’s 10 matches have been 12 points. Points with 12 points have reached second place on the table. Lucknow is sixth in 10 matches with 10 points.
