In fact, while addressing a press conference, NCP-SP Chief Sharad Pawar spoke on big issues like the death of his nephew Ajit Pawar, his wife Sunetra Pawar assuming the post of Deputy CM, the upcoming elections of Maharashtra and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
‘What right does Devendra Fadnavis have?’- Sharad Pawar
On Devendra Fadnavis’ reaction on the discussion of NCP merger, he said, “What right does Devendra Fadnavis have to take my name? I was not a part of this discussion.” Sharad Pawar clarified that talks were going on between Jayant Patil and Ajit Pawar on this topic. There was no political discussion of any kind in this.”
At the same time, Sharad Pawar further said that he has been associated with Maharashtra Assembly, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha for the last 58 years and in these 58 years he has never been absent from the House. He said that he has always been going to the House to listen to the budget, but due to an unfortunate incident that happened recently, he could not go to the House this time. However, some satisfactory decisions were definitely taken during this period.

Sharad Pawar expressed happiness over Sunetra Pawar becoming Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra and said that he has got a new opportunity. She will prove herself by assuming the responsibilities of this post.
When Sharad Pawar was asked that ‘Ladki Bahin Yojana’ should be named after Ajit Pawar, what would he say on this demand of NCP? So in response Sharad Pawar said that this question should be asked to the government as to what they want to do next? At the same time, on the issue of Ajit Pawar’s memorial, Sharad Pawar said that he is not aware of this nor has there been any discussion about any institution or place in this regard. He said that everyone will have to sit together and take a decision on this issue.
