Often candidates pay full attention to coat and shoes, but do not pay attention to socks. Divyakirti sir clearly says that the color of the socks also complements the dress, hence it is important to choose the right color. If you’re wearing navy blue coat-pants (which is the most common interview attire), wear black socks with it.
