America has once again threatened Iran. US War Secretary Pete Hegseth has given a stern warning, saying that the US military is fully prepared if Tehran moves towards making nuclear weapons.
Hegseth said any necessary action will be taken in accordance with President Donald Trump’s thinking. In a statement given at the cabinet meeting, Hegseth said that America is rapidly increasing its military presence in the Middle East and is rapidly re-establishing its power in the region.
‘Ready to work as per Trump’
The US Secretary of War appealed to Iran not to acquire nuclear capability and stressed that they should not move towards nuclear capability. He also said that we are ready to live up to what President Trump expects from the War Department.
Citing the recent successful operation, Pete Hegseth described the arrest of former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife as the most successful raid in world history. He said that no other army can carry out such a complex operation and no other president gives so much freedom to his soldiers. The Secretary of War stressed that when Trump speaks, he takes it seriously.
Mentioned about Operation Midnight Hammer
Apart from this, American official Pete Hegseth also mentioned Operation Midnight Hammer, in which attacks on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure were carried out on Trump’s orders. Hegseth said that Donald Trump has made a clear promise that Iran will never be able to make a nuclear bomb. There is currently a heavy deployment of the US Navy in the Middle East, with the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln sent to the region.
Trump has described the aircraft carrier as a huge army heading towards Iran. He said that this carrier group is ready to complete its mission rapidly. He warned the Iranian regime that time was running out and a fair nuclear deal must be reached soon.
