Suryakumar Yadav said after defeating Pakistan in the league stage match of the 2025 Asia Cup that this victory is dedicated to the victims of Pulwama. After this, in the press conference, Surya had said that we had received instructions from the government and BCCI that we will not join hands with Pakistani players after winning.

Will Suryakumar be banned?

According to the rule by the ICC, the matter would be considered as Level-1 violation. In such a situation, no player is banned. Only the player can be fined match fees. Any player is banned only when there is a violation of level 2, 3 or 4.
