Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde has congratulated the people of Bihar and the NDA leadership on the historic victory of NDA in Bihar Assembly elections. Terming this victory as a ‘landslide victory’, he said that the biggest credit for it goes to the ‘laadli sisters’ (women voters) of Bihar, who voted overwhelmingly in the name of development.

Eknath Shinde, while making a scathing attack on former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, said that the conscious people of Bihar have completely rejected ‘Jungle Raj’ and have chosen ‘Mangalraj’ of development.

‘People could not leave their homes after 6 o’clock’

While talking to the media, Eknath Shinde reminded the tenure of Lalu Prasad Yadav and said, “During Lalu’s time, people could not leave the house after 6 pm and traders used to close their shops early. I had gone there to campaign. People used to say that leaving out at night is a distant dream, you could not go out even in the evening.”

He further said, “There was open looting and rape in Bihar. Bihar was living under the shadow of fear. But when Nitish Kumar ji got the chance to take over Bihar, he brought Bihar back on the track of development during his 20 years of rule. Today women in Bihar can do employment without fear. Nitish Kumar has provided security to everyone.”

‘Like Maharashtra, sisters created history in Bihar too’

Deputy CM Shinde gave credit for this victory to women voters and compared it with the recent elections in Maharashtra. He said, “The history created by the beloved sisters in Maharashtra has been repeated in Bihar today! Like Maharashtra, the NDA got a ‘landslide victory’ in Bihar too. I congratulate the beloved sisters, they gave priority to development.”

‘Fake narrative’ lost, ‘work positive’ won

Eknath Shinde described this victory as the victory of the trio of Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Home Minister Amit Shah. He said, “The people of Bihar have once again approved the development journey of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

He said, “The experience and credibility of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has paid off. The ‘Chanakya Policy’ of the country’s Home Minister respected Amitbhai Shah has proved effective.”

Taking aim at the opposition, he said, “The public has rejected the ‘fake narrative’ of the ‘Maha Aghadi’. It has once again been proved that a false narrative does not work in the public court, only ‘work positive’ does. He expressed confidence that with the support of PM Modi, Nitish Kumar will do very good work in Bihar in the next five years.
