In summer it may seem heavy to some people and in winter it is not enough to provide much warmth to the body.
How much power does bajra roti have?

Bajra roti is especially considered for winters. Bajra is a grain of hot nature, that is, it produces heat in the body. In cold weather, when the body needs more energy and strength, then millet roti is very beneficial. It is heavier than wheat and gets digested late, but this is what makes it special in winter. Bajra roti is often eaten with ghee, butter or jaggery so that its dry nature is balanced and digestion remains easy.
How healthy is Ragi Roti?

Ragi roti is considered better for summers. It cools the body and is not heavy on the stomach. During the summer season, when appetite is low and digestion is weak, Ragi helps in keeping the stomach calm. This is the reason why ragi is eaten more in summer in South India. However, eating too much ragi in winter may make some people feel stiffness or cold in the body, hence it is better to consume it in limited quantity during the cold season.

Sorghum and Corn Bread

Jowar and maize rotis keep the stomach full for a long time, but they are dry by nature. To digest these, good digestive power is required. For this reason, these rotis mostly suit those people who do a lot of physical hard work, like farmers or laborers. If you eat these, then take vegetables, pulses or some ghee along with them, so that there is no strain on the stomach.
