If we look at the last 3 finals, the average winning percentage of the teams playing the finals has been 64-68, in such a situation India will have to win at least 8 out of 9 matches.

India’s next test series

Indian team now has to play 2 series abroad. But the Indian team will not play red ball cricket till August 2026. India will tour Sri Lanka in August for the next Test series, a 2-match Test series in the World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle. After this, India will tour New Zealand for a 2-match Test series in October-November 2026.
