Many stars have come and gone in Hindi cinema, but Devanand is that name which never fades from our hearts. Dharmadav Pishorimal Anand, who is also known as ‘God of Cinema’. Today, December 3, on his death anniversary, we are once again amidst memories. His style, his stories and his smile are still present in the hearts of all of us.

Actress Shayra Banu had shared a very interesting story related to Dev Anand’s life. The song was being shot amidst the ruins in Baalbek, Lebanon. The atmosphere was beautiful and there was a lot of excitement in the crowd. Suddenly the foreign fans standing there started shouting ‘Shammi Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor’. He felt that his favorite star, who was always present on the screen, was standing in front of him. The actress told that if it was anyone else then perhaps he would have got worried or a little angry. But Dev Saheb shook hands with a slight smile and said, ‘Yes, I am Shammi Kapoor’. At that moment he understood how big Dev Saheb’s heart really is.

The thing is that one day only two words were written in a letter. ‘Stop it’, Dev Saheb took it as a signal and left his job and entered the film world.
