Let us tell you, Dharmendra first married Prakash Kaur in the year 1954. Dharmendra was 19 years old at that time. Despite his first wife and four children, he fell in love for the second time. After coming into the film industry, Dharmendra fell so deeply in love with Hema Malini that he got married for the second time in 1980. However, he married his second wife Prakash Kaur without divorcing him.

Hema Malini has told that she never met her daughter-in-law Prakash Kaur and never even stepped into Dharmendra’s Juhu bungalow. However, Hema lives at a short distance from that bungalow. Hema Malini had said some things on her meeting with Dharmendra’s first wife. He had said that after they got married, he never met her again.

While talking to ‘Stardust’, Prakash Kaur once talked about the marriage of Hema Malini and her husband Dharmendra. He had said, ‘Dharmendra is the first love and last person of my life. He is the father of my children. I love him very much and respect him very much. Whatever’s done is done.’
He had said, ‘I don’t know whether I should blame him or my fate for this, but one thing is certain, no matter how far he is from me, no matter what happens, but if I need him, I am sure that he will be with me. I have not lost my trust in him. After all, he is the father of my children.
Hema met Prakash before marriage
Hema had told in her autobiography ‘Hema Malini: The Dream Girl’ that before marriage, she met Prakash Kaur at a public event. She also said that when she got married to Dharmendra, she never met him again. He had said that he never even stepped into Dharmendra’s bungalow in Juhu.
The actress had said, ‘I did not want to disturb anyone. I am happy with whatever Dharamji has done for me and my daughters. He played the role of a father, as any father plays. I think I’m happy with it.
