Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is contesting the Bihar Assembly elections, on Wednesday (November 5, 2025) has targeted RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. CM Himanta has taken a dig at Tejashwi Yadav’s statement of giving Rs 30 thousand to the women of Bihar. He asked the question that when he was the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, how much money had he deposited in the accounts of women? Did he even give three rupees?
He said, ‘When he was in power, he did not give even three rupees to the women of Bihar and now when he is out of power, he is saying that he will give Rs 30,000 to the women.’
What did Himanta Biswa Sarma say about Rahul Gandhi?,
Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed an election rally in Sitamarhi district of Bihar on Wednesday (November 5, 2025). During this, he also targeted the Grand Alliance’s Chief Ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav along with Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. CM Himanta said, ‘Rahul is mad; Whatever he sees in his dreams, he speaks.
During this, Chief Minister Sarma took a dig at the period of Congress Party’s rule in the country. He said, ‘During the time of Congress Party’s rule, terrorists used to carry out attacks in the country’s capital Delhi. They used to fire even inside the Lok Sabha and the Congress government did not have the power to take action, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, if Pakistan plants a bomb in our country, we give a 100 times stronger response.
CM Sarma praised Nitish government
Sarma praised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his scheme for women. Assam CM said, ‘I was extremely impressed by the scheme of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, through which women of the state are being given Rs 10,000 and later on they are made Lakhpati Didi.’
He said, ‘I was so impressed by this scheme that I called Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and got complete information about this scheme and started implementing this scheme of Lakhpati Didi in Assam, which is a smaller state than Bihar.’
