That moment came from the heart. In the climax, when I saw the Pakistani flag on the tank, the feeling that came, the expression that came automatically, was not of an actor but of a soldier. Yes, it was a reel on the screen… but the passion and enthusiasm were absolutely real.

Even today everyone remembers that scene – when the soldier goes under the tank with a bomb and blows up everything. Further, Sunil Shetty also told that questions were raised regarding this film. But JP Dutta Saheb was convinced. He believed, ‘The tank will go back because it is our soldier. This was his strength, his energy, his passion. And that became a defining moment of the border.
