After the results of the general elections held in Bangladesh, the people there have handed over the responsibility of running the government to BNP i.e. Bangladesh Nationalist Party. In this election, under the leadership of Tariq Rehman, BNP has got a lot of support from the public in the 13th National Parliament Election. The Prime Minister of India has congratulated Tariq Rehman and his party on the victory of BNP. Now BNP has also reacted on this.
BNP reacted to PM Modi’s congratulatory message
BNP has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his message. Earlier on Friday, on the congratulatory message given by PM Narendra Modi, BNP Election Management Committee Chairman Nazrul Islam Khan said that on behalf of our party, we also thank him i.e. Narendra Modi. We believe that under the leadership of our leader Tariq Rehman, relations with both the countries and the ties between their people will become even stronger.

What did PM Modi write in his congratulatory message?
Earlier, while congratulating after the election results of Bangladesh, PM Modi had said that I heartily congratulate Tariq Rahman for giving a big victory to BNP in the parliamentary elections of Bangladesh. This victory shows the confidence of the Bangladeshi people in the leadership of Tariq Rahman. India will continue to support a democratic, progressive and inclusive Bangladesh.

BNP emerged as the largest party in the election results held on February 12.
Elections were held in Bangladesh without any interruption on Thursday i.e. 12th February. Voting stopped in Sherpur-3 due to the death of a candidate. In this, voting took place on 299 seats out of 300. So far results of 297 seats have come. BNP has crossed the mark of 200 seats in this election.
BNP is on its way to a major victory, and according to reports the party has already won over 200 seats under the leadership of Tariq Rahman.
