Shahrukh Khan and Karan Johar share a very special bond. It has been many years since their friendship. Karan often says that Shahrukh Khan is like his family. Karan Johar made his debut as a director with Shahrukh Khan’s film. His first film as a director was Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Shahrukh Khan became angry with Karan Johar during the shooting of this film. This has been revealed by filmmaker Nikhil Advani.
Nikhil Advani has shared the experience of working with Karan Johar in his debut film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He told how Karan had over-prepared in his excitement. Karan had ordered every equipment on the set which was not even demanded in the scene. At that time Shahrukh Khan had pointed out these extra things.
This scene was shot
Nikhil recalled that time in an interview given to Radio Nasha. He said- ‘So that was the first day’s shoot. Goldie Hawn and Parmeshwar Gojrej were about to come to meet Karan Johar. We had ordered everything from dolly, jib etc. The scene that was shot that day is not in the film itself but we have a tracking shot in which children are crying outside the dentist’s office and after that Shahrukh Khan is there. In this scene, little Anjali again says to Shahrukh – Have you gone mad?, Nikhil Advani was written on the name plate of the dentist. Because of this everyone was having a lot of fun.
Shahrukh was angry with Karan
Nikhil further said- ‘However, everyone’s mood had changed after the shoot was over. We finished the shoot and Shahrukh called me and Karan in his van. He said- Boss, you all don’t know anything. You don’t know anything. Why did you order all the equipment?, There was no need for his shot. Fix it.’
