Most Consecutive Toss Loss By India: The Indian captain is having bad luck in winning the toss in One Day Internationals. Even in the second ODI match between India and Australia, Indian captain Shubman Gill lost the toss. This was Team India’s 17th consecutive defeat, in which India failed to win the toss and this trend has been going on since almost two years when Rohit Sharma was the captain.
India won the toss 708 days ago
The Indian captain last won the toss in an ODI match against New Zealand in the semi-finals of the 2023 ODI World Cup. After that, neither Rohit Sharma, nor KL Rahul nor Shubman Gill have won the toss as Indian captain. Whereas the new captain of the Indian team, Shubman Gill has lost 9 out of his 10 tosses. Although there is no scientific basis for winning the toss, it is strange that India not winning a single toss for such a long time is a rare occurrence. If we talk about the chances of winning the toss, then both the teams have 50-50 percent.

Let us tell you that ever since India started losing the toss, the results of Team India have been mixed. India lost in the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup and also lost the series to Sri Lanka. Although the Indian team had won its second Champions Trophy title earlier this year, it lost against Australia in the last series of this year.
