These days, the eyes of lakhs of youth across the country are fixed on only one thing – CTET result. Now big news is coming for the candidates who had appeared in this examination with the dream of becoming a teacher. After a long wait, it is now believed that the result of CTET 2026 can be released any time.
Since this examination was held on 8 February 2026, candidates are continuously waiting for their results. Due to technical reasons, re-examination was also conducted at some examination centers on March 1. Since then, students have been checking the official website again and again to know when the result will be declared.
Now just waiting for the result
The examination conducting body has already released the answer keys of both the papers on March 12. After this, students were given a chance to lodge their objections till March 15. Now this entire process is over. When the deadline for filing objections on the answer key is over, the result is usually released within 10 to 12 days. On this basis, this time also it is expected that the result of CTET can be revealed very soon.

What is CTET exam?
CTET i.e. Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a national level examination. Passing it is necessary for those candidates who want to become teachers in government schools. There are two papers in this examination. Paper 1 is for those candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5. Whereas, Paper 2 is for those who want to become teachers from class 6 to 8. Many candidates also give both the papers so that they can get more chances.
The most important thing about the certificate
One special thing about the certificate that you get after passing CTET is that its validity is now for life. That means, once the candidate passes the exam, there is no need to give it again and again.
Where can one get a job?
After passing CTET, many avenues open up for the candidates. This certificate is not just a proof of passing an examination, but also an important step towards becoming a government teacher. CTET pass candidates can apply at these places-
- Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS)
- Navodaya Vidyalaya (NVS)
- army school
- Schools in Union Territories (like Delhi, Chandigarh)
- Many private and aided schools
