The audience has been waiting for filmmaker Karan Johar’s film ‘Lag Ja Gale’ for a long time. Karan Johar had announced this film in the year 2022 itself but there was no update on it for the last three years. However, now the shooting of ‘Lag Ja Gale’ is about to begin and a big update has also come out on its release date. Let us tell you that Lakshya, Jhanvi Kapoor and Tiger Shroff will be in lead roles in this film.
‘Lag Ja Gale’ is an action film which was initially going to be directed by Karan Johar. But now the command of direction of this film is on the shoulders of Raj Mehta and Karan is the producer of the film. According to the report of Mid Day, the cast of the film is going to finish the shooting of the film in three months, after which ‘Lag Ja Gale’ will be able to hit the theaters only next year.

Quoting a source in the report, it is written – ‘Lag Ja Gale will be shot continuously in Mumbai from December to March. The cast has given block dates to Raj, who is ready to complete the shooting of the film by the end of March. This will be a tremendous action film in which there will be a lot of drama between the three lead characters. The action scenes of Lakshya and Tiger, who are experts in this genre, are being considered the main attraction of the film. Revenge is the core theme of the film. If everything goes as per plan, the film may hit theaters by the second half of 2026.
Lakshya, Jhanvi Kapoor and Tiger Shroff’s work front
On the work front, Lakshya was last seen in the series ‘The Bads of Bollywood’. Now the actor also has ‘Lag Ja Gale’, ‘Chand Mera Dil’ and ‘Dostana 2’. Karan Johar will produce all these three films. Jhanvi will be seen in Kapoor’s film ‘Peddi’ with Ram Charan. This film will be released on 27 March 2026. Apart from this, Tiger can be seen in ‘Rambo’ and ‘Screw Loose’.
