When will Panchayat elections be held in Bihar? Panchayati Raj Minister Deepak Prakash made the whole picture clear

Panchayati Raj Minister in Nitish government Deepak Prakash made it clear on Saturday (21 March) that Panchayat elections in Bihar will be held on time and no changes will be made in the delimitation process. He said that the elections for Chief and Deputy Chief will be held under the existing system as before.

Panchayati Raj Minister Deepak Prakash also said that a new reservation roster will be implemented for the Panchayat elections of the year 2026. So that all sections of the society can get better representation. While talking to IANS in Gaya, he said that this system has been running for a long time and now there is a need to make it more balanced.

Minister inspected Panchayat Government Building

According to the information, during his visit to Gaya, Deepak Prakash inspected the construction site of a disputed Panchayat Government building in Barsauna village of Tankuppa block. This construction work was halted due to local opposition. The minister reviewed the documents related to the land with the officials and gave instructions to restart the construction work and speed it up.

The leadership of Bihar will remain in the hands of Nitish Kumar – Minister

Speaking on political issues at the Circuit House in Gaya, Minister Deepak Prakash said that the speculations going on regarding the leadership in the state will become clear at the right time. He reiterated that the leadership of Bihar will remain in the hands of Nitish Kumar and the credit for the development of the state goes to his good governance.

In response to a question on the absence of the Chief Minister at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on the occasion of Eid, the Minister said that Nitish Kumar was busy in government work. He also clarified that Nishant Kumar’s presence should not be seen from any political perspective.
