In this match, South Africa batted first and in the first innings the South African team was limited to only 159 runs. In response, Team India took a lead of 30 runs by scoring 189 runs in the first innings, but South Africa presented a tough challenge to the Indian team by scoring 153 runs in its second innings on a difficult pitch, due to which Team India lost by 30 runs.
