Shiv Sena MLA Warning to Kunal Kamra: Shiv Sena MLA Murji Patel has said that the party will sought a response from the comedian Kunal Kamra when he comes to Mumbai, who is facing objections in the case of commenting against Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Patel said that Kamra is avoiding coming to the state. On Patel’s complaint, the Mumbai Police registered a case against the stand-up comedian.
Today or tomorrow you have to come in front of the police- Patel
The MLA said that Kamra has not come to Mumbai despite the police issued summons. He said that Kamra will have to come in front of the police ‘today or tomorrow’. Kamra has not appeared before the Mumbai Police for questioning despite issuing summons thrice. Rahul Kanal, who has been arrested earlier on charges of sabotage at Habitat Studios in Mumbai, said that whenever Kunal Kamra enters Maharashtra, he will be welcomed in ‘Shiv Sena Style’.
Kunal Kamra has got anticipatory bail from court
Patel said, “He is still not coming to Mumbai. He is outside the state. I know that he has got anticipatory bail from the court (Madras High Court). They have sent us a copy. Many such notices keep coming and going. We will definitely ask Kunal Kamra on coming to Mumbai.
Kamra is in controversy in her new show ‘Naya Bharat’ over her ‘traitors’ comment against Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, which premiered on her YouTube channel last month. Following Patel’s complaint, Khar police in Mumbai lodged an FIR against Kamra last month under sections 353 (1) (B) and 356 (2) of the Indian Code.
