Team India’s star bowler Kuldeep Yadav got engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika in a private ceremony in Lucknow on June 4, 2025. Some pictures of the engagement later surfaced on social media, after which this news quickly became popular.
Vanshika grew up in Lucknow
Vanshika was born and brought up in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Her family is counted among the common but respectable families. Vanshika’s father Yogesh Singh works in Life Insurance Corporation of India i.e. LIC. The family always likes to stay away from media and limelight.

According to reports, Vanshika has done some part of her studies in Melbourne city of Australia. Studying abroad gave him good experience and he got the benefit of this in his career also. After completing her studies, Vanshika started her career with Life Insurance Corporation of India i.e. LIC. At present she is associated with LIC in Lucknow only. Along with the fixed salary, the employees working in LIC also get many types of facilities, like bonus, insurance cover and other allowances. That is why this job is considered quite stable and secure.
Love story started from childhood friendship
The story of Kuldeep Yadav and Vanshika is no less than a film story. Both know each other since childhood. Their friendship started from the days in Kanpur, when Kuldeep was starting his cricket career. With time their friendship deepened and gradually this relationship turned into love. After keeping their relationship private for many years, both of them finally made their relationship public by getting engaged.

For this, Welcome Hotel by ITC Hotels, The Savoy has been fully booked, where about 80 rooms have been reserved for the guests. The wedding programs will run from 13 to 17 March, which will start with traditional rituals like Haldi, Haath and Mangal Snan on 13 March. On the night of March 14, Kuldeep and Vanshika will get married with seven rounds, while on March 17, a grand reception will be organized in Lucknow, in which many special guests are likely to attend.
