The Government of India has recently given NOC to 3 new airlines to fly. This approval has been given when problems related to operations came to light in the country’s largest airline company Indigo, due to which passengers across the country had to face many problems. Now the Government of India has given green signal to new airline companies with the aim of increasing competition in the Indian aviation sector and creating new options for the convenience of passengers.
In such a situation, many people are wondering how many types of NOC are required to start an airline company, what is the procedure for it? So let us tell you today what needs to be done to enter the aviation sector?
Indian government approves 3 new airlines
Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu informed that the Government of India has issued No Objection Certificate (NOC) to three new airline companies, which include Al Hind Air, Shankha Air and Flying Express. These three airlines will cover different routes. Among these, Shankha Air will mainly handle its operations in Uttar Pradesh and Al Hind Air will fly on the Kerala route and Flying Express will provide passenger facility as well as cargo facility.
After receiving the No Objection Certificate (NOC), these three airline companies will have to prepare for the next stage, which will be to obtain AOC (Air Operator Certificate), which can be obtained only when the airline companies prove that they have safe airplanes to fly and also have experienced and good pilots to fly them. The government body DGCA also checks the new airline companies under every smallest detail and rules to see whether the planes of the airline companies are really ready to fly or not.
How is approval obtained to start an airline?
If you also want to start a new airline company, then how can you do it, what documents will be required, let us know.
- If a person wants to start his own airline company in India, then for this you will have to go through a very long process and steps. First of all, you will have to register your airline company with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) of the Government of India, under which you will have to decide how many ships your company will have and which cities and routes it will cover or fly.
- After this, you will have to obtain many licenses and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the most important of which is Air Operator Certificate (AOC). Without this you cannot operate your airline company and you are required to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
- The most important step is to obtain an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), in which you have to provide information about all the required pilots, engineers and cabin crew of your company or whether you have the money to run an airline or not, under which the authorities check whether your airline is safe to fly with passengers or not. After this, there are many other small procedures, only after completing which you get recognition or approval to start an airline company.
